About Rocks State Park
Trails range from short rock scrambles to longer forest loops. The King and Queen Seat, a 190-foot rock outcrop, offers one of the best views in central Maryland. Kilgore Falls, in the park's Falling Branch area, is one of the tallest vertical waterfalls in the state.
The park is popular with hikers, climbers, and families tubing on Deer Creek in summer.
